RMUS Acquires Gap Wireless’s Unmanned Aerial Systems Division
December 13, 2019. RMUS, or Rocky Mountain Unmanned Systems, has acquired Canada-based Gap Wireless’s UAS division to create RMUS Canada.
“This acquisition worked out exceptionally well for both companies and their respective customers.” says President of RMUS, JT VonLunen. “RMUS Canada will now offer Gap Wireless customers its industry-renowned level of service and support, while Gap Wireless can focus on developing their innovative solutions for the wireless industry.”
Gap Wireless will continue to concentrate on UAS Defense and payloads that provide Radio Frequency measurements for the wireless industry. “It should be a seamless hand-off for our customers” remarked Marc Bouvrette, President of Gap Wireless. “We have known the team at RMUS for years and know that our UAS customers will be in good hands.”
RMUS Canada will offer DJI Enterprise equipment, software, training and services into the Canadian market. RMUS Canada will also provide other leading industrial UAS brands such as Flyability, Parrot, FLIR, YellowScan LiDAR, Phase One, Doosan and other UAS accessory/auxiliary products. RMUS Canada’s base of operations will be located in Toronto.
